Network Builder contains all the content management, membership management, participation, and configuration tools needed to build a professional online network.

John Jeffrey, CEO of VBN said of the result: 'It's a terrific start to the year. The newly launched Network Builder has been a huge success. Because it's an out-of the box product we can quickly configure it to suit the customer's requirements so they can be up and running in just a day. We have generated significant interest in among Alumni networks across Europe and we expect Network Builder to be our fastest selling online solution this year.'

In addition, VBN has also signed Global Start, a network between 8 leading European Universities and Moltools, a major EU funded collaboration between world class research organisations such as the Babraham Institute, Cambridge and Uppsala University in Sweden. This is a flagship European project funded under the new FP6 scheme designed to develop the combined European Research Area (ERA).

In the last financial year VBN has seen substantial expansion gaining 37 new clients across the world and recording a profitable growth of 95% year on year increase in turn over and more than 60,000 subscribers. The company's experience lies in providing the link between people and ideas by building and developing the core software needed to create business and innovation community websites.
