The Organisation:
All our Content Management products are delivered across the web via a browser interface this means that, with the correct access rights, you can be managing the content of your website from anywhere without the need to install any specialised software.
Set up in 1999 with the aim of raising the profile of the Cambridge technology community in order to attract inward investment and to facilitate online networking for Cambridge companies and individuals.
Objectives for the Web Site:
Fast and efficient ways for the membership to promote themselves and solve everyday business problems, e.g. advertising job vacancies and sourcing partners
Simple administration of the web site and the community membership, requiring only limited financial and human resource
Need for an external IT resource to host, maintain and run the web site - not available internally!
How VBN has helped:
With nearly 4 years of operation, the Cambridge Network has been phenomenally successful.
It is acknowledged as one of Europe's most successful online communities. The membership has grown to over 1600 companies from a standing start in 1999. At any point in time there are on average 1700 jobs advertised in the job section.

At present the site receives an average of:
3,000 people visits and 12,000 hits per working day
350+ submissions of content from its membership alone (eg news, events, jobs), per week
